Telegram auto-repost: complete guide
Auto-repost is one of the most powerful automations for Telegram channel management: instead of copy-pasting by hand, you configure a rule and the system republishes every new message automatically.
What is a repost
A repost takes a message from a "source" channel and republishes it on a "destination" channel. Unlike a forward, the message looks like it was posted directly on your channel (no "forwarded from" label).
When to use reposts
- News aggregators (sports, crypto, AI, deals)
- Multi-channel mirroring of the same content
- Automatic backup of a main channel
- Editorial curation: republish only certain post types
Best practices
- Keyword filters: republish only messages containing certain keywords (e.g. "#deal")
- Blacklist: block usernames, URLs, unwanted words
- Replacements: swap affiliate links, replace hashtags, format titles
- Random delay: 5-30s to avoid looking like a bot
- Deduplication: avoid republishing the same content from multiple sources
