Telegram auto-repost: complete guide

2026-05-19 · Telepilot

Auto-repost is one of the most powerful automations for Telegram channel management: instead of copy-pasting by hand, you configure a rule and the system republishes every new message automatically.

What is a repost

A repost takes a message from a "source" channel and republishes it on a "destination" channel. Unlike a forward, the message looks like it was posted directly on your channel (no "forwarded from" label).

When to use reposts

Best practices

  1. Keyword filters: republish only messages containing certain keywords (e.g. "#deal")
  2. Blacklist: block usernames, URLs, unwanted words
  3. Replacements: swap affiliate links, replace hashtags, format titles
  4. Random delay: 5-30s to avoid looking like a bot
  5. Deduplication: avoid republishing the same content from multiple sources

Setup with Telepilot

  1. Dashboard → Reposts → Create repost
  2. Pick source channel (public or one you're a member of)
  3. Pick destination channel
  4. Add filters and replacements (optional)
  5. Save — the system scans new messages every minute
